AUPS, A character villages of Var

A Character village of Var, Aups has been able to preserve some historical vestiges in its heritage: ramparts, ruins of a fortified castle, Gothic collegiate church...


The Lac de Sainte Croix is only about twenty kilometers away and offers you all the pleasures of swimming, but also canoeing and pedal boarding. Thrill-seekers can try all the white water sports in the Gorges du Verdon (rafting, canyoning) without forgetting the many climbing routes and long-distance hiking trails that will take you through magnificent landscapes.


Depending on the time of year, from Aups you can travel throughout the region visiting the Character Villages of Var but also have the choice between spending the day at the sea, which is only 60 km away, or spending the day in a ski resort, the closest of which is only 80kms from the village.
